Njoro MP Charity Kathambi has called on Nakuru residents to remain united ahead of the 2027 polls.
Speaking at Mercy Njeri Secondary School in Rongai during launch school bus, Kathambi noted that a section of leaders are spreading hate messages that might plunge the country into dark days.
According to Kathambi who is also a peace ambassador, electorates should shun such leaders who have no agenda but mess up the peace garment in society.
She urged residents of Nakuru county to rally behind leaders that are focused on development agenda moving forward.
While pointing out that Nakuru county is not just any other County owing to political strength, the second term serving Lawmaker urged residents no to buy in to the divisive politics being spearheaded by a section of opposition.
“All our constituencies in Nakuru, we a peace loving people and that is why we are telling residents to continue embracing peace and shun divisive politics and politicians who are spreading the same,” she stated.
Sentiments echoed by Kuresoi North MP Alfred Mutai.
The Lawmaker pointed out that Nakuru County and specifically Molo and Kuresoi have scars of skirmishes and no one would like to go back to such.
He called on political class to keep off politics of division but rather work towards cohesiveness in Nakuru.
