Bahati MP Irene Njoki has termed 2024 a year of remarkable progress for Bahati Constituency.

In her New Year message, the MP noted that 2024 has stood out in terms of development for he constituents.

While highlighting some of the numerous projects initiated under NG-CDF, the Lawmaker proudly stated that some of the projects had never been done in Bahati for many years.

“As 2024 comes to a close, it stands as a year of remarkable progress for Bahati,” she stated.

Since she took over as MP for Bahati in 2022, the Lawmaker prides in upgrading roads to bitumen standards that had been promised for many years, drilled boreholes, built classrooms, connected homes to electricity.

In addition, awarded thousands of bursaries, installed security lights, constructed police posts and stations, empowered hundreds through TVETs, and secured increased national funding for development.

According to the Lawmaker, despite limited resources, significant strides have been made in bridging the development gap with the rest of the country.

She pointed out that matters development should not be politicized.

“Politics will always shift, but the infrastructure we are building will serve generations,” she said.

While noting that Bahati has long been left behind, the Legislator reiterated her commitment to accelerating progress in 2025 and beyond.

She urged constituents to continue supporting her in the development agenda in building a brighter and more developed constituency.
