Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has saluted Safaricom Foundation for continued partnership in enhancing digital infrastructure in the larger Bahati Constituency.
The Lawmaker in a statement to Newsrooms on Tuesday September 3, 2024 lauded the partnership saying it goes a long way in ensuring youth get digital skills that will help empower them.
This even as earlier Tuesday, representatives from the Safaricom Foundation paid a courtesy call to the MPs office in Bahati.
During the meeting, the MP’s team engaged in discussion on possible areas of partnership.
“My Team engaged in a broad discussion on potential areas of partnership, building on the foundation of our existing collaboration,” she stated.
It should be noted that just recently Safaricom Foundation delivered computers to Bahati constituency’s Ajira Digital Headquarters in Kiamaina.
MP Njoki pointed out that Safaricom Foundation’s continued support in enhancing digital infrastructure in her Constituency is invaluable.
She added that she looks forward to exploring further opportunities to empower youth through technology and innovation.
