Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has assured constituents that those behind the murder of Rev. Julius Ndumia of PCEA Tabuga Parish will be brought to book.
Speaking on Tuesday May 5, 2026 when she joined the family, church leadership, and Tabuga community in Dundori Ward to pay tribute following the loss, MP Njoki revealed that investigations are on into the matter.
While extending her sincere condolences to the family during this deeply painful moment, the Lawmaker revealed that security agencies, led by a multi-agency team of detectives from DCI Headquarters in Nairobi, are on the ground and actively pursuing credible leads.
“I am confident that those responsible will be identified and brought to justice,” she said.
The Legislator added that she had been briefed by the County Police Commander over the matter.
She assured the public that all necessary steps are being taken to uphold security and maintain order.
“I remain steadfast in my commitment to safeguarding our Constituency and ensuring that everyone feels safe and protected,” stated MP Njoki.
