They say a friend in need is a friend indeed and this was demonstrated on Saturday as staff from Njoro MP Charity Kathambi’s office visited the families affected by fire tragedy at Tipis.
The visit served to offer comfort and stand with the families in the wake of unimaginable loss.
“Today, my office visited the victims of the Tipis fire tragedy to offer comfort and stand in solidarity with them in the wake of unimaginable loss,” stated Kathambi.
The families are counting losses following he incident that saw their homes razed down by the inferno.
The MP has called for collective humanity actions towards restoration.
“In times like these, our collective humanity is called to action. May the grace of the Almighty be upon the affected families, giving them strength and hope as they begin the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives,” she stated.
This, even as a prayer service is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday July 13, 2025, for the families affected by the tragedy.
The prayer service according to the MP’s office will commence at 10am.
Kathambi has vowed to work closely with relevant authorities towards restoration of their lives.
