Njoro MP Charity Kathambi has attributed the tremendous development realized in Njoro to good working relationship with national leadership.
Kathambi maintained that majority of projects that she lobbied from National Government have been delivered.
According to the Lawmaker, this includes power connectivity, road network and education sector among others.
The Legislator was speaking at St. Augustine Catholic church in Njoro during Sunday service and fundraiser in support of the church.
“I am very grateful that here in Njoro we have received key projects from National Government and we shall continue to lobby for more. I want to thank our President for having Njoro Constituency at heart,” she stated.
Kathambi also lauded the government intervention towards saving financial challenges at Egerton University.
She used the moment to also urge Njoro residents and Kenyans at large to keep off individuals spearheading politics of division and tribalism.
“We want to call on all of us that let us embrace peace and desist from politics of division. We have a country that we should protect,” said Kathambi.
Sentiments echoed by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula who was Chief Guest.
Wetangula told off a section of politicians whom he said are trying to cause chaos by planting seeds of tribalism and hatred.
He urged Kenyans to remain vigilant and keep off such.
“Peace is paramount. Leaders should watch their words not to divide Kenyans,” he said.
