MP Arama warns opponents against tarnishing his name ahead of 2027

Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama has told off his competitors over a move to tarnish his name.l ahead of 2027 general polls.

The Lawmaker stated that a section of opponents whom he has been competing with and beating them in general polls since 2013 have started a trend of tarnishing his name.

He pointed out the recent wrangles within ODM Party due to the recent grassroot elections and distanced himself with claims by his opponents that he interfered with the process by dishing out money to some of the candidates.

According to Arama, he has no business engaging in matters ODM adding that those claiming so have no agenda to tell the people of Nakuru West, instead they have chosen to tarnish his name for no reason.

Arama termed such as petty politics which have no value in the cosmopolitan Constituency of Nakuru West.

He added that his development agenda for Nakuru Town West Constituency is very clear and the record speaks for itself.

“My record is very clear on development and the people will decide come 2027 based in my development record. Those tarnishing my name have no agenda for the people. If they have let them call a meeting and tell the people what they have for the people,” he stated.

The MP was speaking during the launch of disbursement of bursary cheques for Dayschools in Nakuru Town West.

He used the moment to drum support for NG-CDF which he stated that has continued to play key role in matters transformation of constituencies.

Arama took an issue with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for pushing to have the kitty moved to Ministry of Education.

According to the third term serving Lawmaker, such a move is ill advised and will cause a lot of challenges to learners.

He urged Kenyans to support the entrenchment of the kitty into the constitution of Kenya so that it can continue to transform society.
