Since his election, MP Alfred Mutai has become a darling to constituents who express optimism in his inclusivity leadership.
The youthful MP seemed to have understood well his agenda of transforming Kuresoi North through the various transformation projects he has initiated in the last 3 years.

In a recent event of launch of bursary cheques for Dayschools and other institutions, the Lawmaker was clear that his development agenda is well outlined for the people of Kuresoi North.
He maintained that he is upto the task and that he will defend his seat come 2027 to ensure that he completes the projects he started.
“Our agenda is very clear. We want to see a transformed Kuresoi North and that is why I am saying without fear of contradiction that my plan is to go for two terms before I can think of other agenda of going for a higher seat,” he stated.
But did you know that before rising to power, MP Mutai was a mere charcoal seller?
Well, the humble youthful Lawmaker who contested on UDA Party ticket, garnered 25,365 votes, beating his closest competitor, former National Assembly Deputy Speaker Moses Cheboi, revealed to media in earlier interviews that he engaged in illegal charcoal business to survive when things were tough on his end.
This was after he lost his parents in 2001 when he was in Form One.
Despite the humble beginnings, Mutai’s name has become the talk of Kuresoi North with praises over his dedicated leadership and transformation agenda for the people.
A walk into the town, every residents seemed satisfied with his kind of leadership, a clear indicator that come 2027, the man of the people will clinch the seat.
For Mutai, he says once through with the transformation agenda for the people of Kuresoi North Constituency, then he might go for Gubernatorial seat and later try his luck at the Presidential bid.
He says his script might not be far from that of President William Ruto who also rose from selling chicken to now Head of State.
