The Government has gazetted additional administrative units in Uasin Gishu County to bring essential services closer to the people.
In Turbo Sub-County, a model Deputy County Commissioner’s office is being constructed to be the template for similar offices across the country.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Prof Kithure Kindiki says the new administrative units will enable better law enforcement and security management in the country.
The CS spoke on Monday March 18, 2024 after inspecting ongoing construction of the Model DCC Plaza at Turbo.
He later held a security status review meeting on the war on drugs, substance, and alcohol abuse and an update on National Government programs in Uasin Gishu County.
