Kihika slams opposition tour in Nakuru for lacking agenda

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has told off opposition team for lacking credible agenda.

In a statement barely hours after the opposition principals concluded their day one tour in Nakuru, Governor Kihika took a swipe at opposition leaders, claiming they have no vision for the country and are instead focusing on divisive politics.

He told off former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua terming him tribal leader focused on tribal politics.

“Naskia jamaa wa Maskio, Makasiriko, Shares, na Fitina agenda ilikuwa, Susan, Susan, Susan(I’m told the ear, angred, shares and rumours  guy was here and his agenda was Susan, Susan, Susan  ,” stated Kihika.

She added that having listened to the Opposition, it is clear that indeed they have no alternative agenda, plan that outshines the current regime.

According to Kihika, opposition should stop fueling tribalism, spreading hate and causing chaos, but rather present substantive development agenda for Kenyans.

She urged Nakuru residents to listen to every politicians and make right choice based on development scorecard.

Kihika once again urged those who are yet to register as voters to do so inorder to have their voice count come 2027.

It should be noted that opposition principals are in Nakuru for two-day tour that will end on Saturday February 28, 2026 with rallies in Bahati and Subukia.
