Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has send her condolences folowing the tragic death of Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ngeno.
In her message, Kihika stated that in his death, Kenya has lost an imoeccable and fearless leader.
“I am deeply saddened by the tragic passing of my friend Hon Johanna Ng’eno, the Member of Parliament for Emurua Dikirr, Narok County. In his death, Kenya has lost an impeccable and fearless leader,” she stated.
Kihika eulogized Hon Ng’eno as a people-focused leader, a relentless fighter for justice, truthful in his convictions and fearless in defending the interests of those he served.
She recalled that during his time in Parliament, he stood firm on matters that touched the ordinary mwananchi, never wavering even when it was difficult.
That he was truly an asset, offering clarity, courage and unwavering loyalty.
Beyond the House, Kihika noted that as a friend and neighbor —Nakuru and Narok bound not just by geography, but by shared aspirations for the people, “we will terribly miss him and his great support.”
She wished the family strength abd sobriety during this difficult time.
“May his family find strength, and may his soul rest in eternal peace,” she said.
