For many years, residents of Kamburi village in Dundori Ward of Bahati Constituency have remained in darkness.
Infact, history has it that since I independence, the village has remained in dark.
The locals here say they have been promised electricity countless times, but such promises never materialize.
However, this will be a thing of past following interventions by area MP Irene Njoki.
“Today marks a historic day as we finally brought light to the area, fulfilling a promise I made to the people of Kamburi,” she stated.
The Lawmaker said the connectivity is just but a start.
She added that she remains dedicated to ensuring 100% electricity connectivity across Bahati Constituency.
The Legislator was joined by area MCA Gathuita mwangi and the Kenya Power Team.
