The Government has cleared all pending bills for projects pertaining roads.
This was revealed on Friday August 1, 2025 during National Government’s economic empowerment program.
Speaking during the event, Chair Kenya Roads Board Aisha Jumwa assured Nakueu residents that major roads projects that had been stalled due to uncleared pending bills will now resume.
She pointed out that initially some of the roads across the country were in poor state, but with the recent move by government then it means the contractors will resume works.
“I want to agree with my brother Kimani Ichungwa that some of our roads were in poor state. But I want to state here that as the Chair Kenya Roads Board, all pending bills for road projects, contractors have been cleared and the projects will be completed,” she stated.
