Jomec Rehab founder and proprietor John Mututho has affirmed his 2027 political ambition.
In an interview with famousnakuru.co.ke, Mututho who once served as MP for Naivasha Constituency affirmed that he will be on ballot come 2027.
Though he did not reveal which seat he will be contesting, the former Legislator made it clear that the only seat he cannot contest come 2027 is the MCA one.
According to him, he has vast experience and would go for any seat including Presidency.
Mututho was responding to a clarification sought by famousnakuru.co.ke concerning a statement he issued on August 30, 2026.
In the statement, Mututho made revelation on how he lost his Naivasha Parliamentary seat.
According to him, On the eve of the 2013 National Elections, a contractor was assigned a specific duty: to make sure that he(Mututho)was out of Parliament—by whatever it takes.
He goes ahead to highlight that the contractor was paid KES 60 million for this task, witnessed by some friends at a meeting in Naivasha.
His plan was executed as follows:
· A major brewer in the country paid KES 55 million
· A local brewer paid KES 35 million
· The Bar Owners Association paid KES 5 million
Mututho says all that money was distributed to voters in Naivasha on the night of the election.
The distributors included:
· Chiefs
· Police officers—led by an Inspector of Police
· Two Sergeants
· Two Corporals
“I met these officers at a launch in Naivasha. We had spent the night at our campaign center. They were there to plant a system—Myanmar’s former GSM communication system—to manipulate the election results,” he stated.
He adds that the message to the voters was simple and effective:
“Mututho is a wonderful man. His Excellency, President Uhuru Kenyatta, has appointed him a Minister. Therefore, no need to elect him to Parliament. Instead, vote for the party candidate.”
“That was done. Faithfully. By the people of Naivasha. Believing the lie. That is how I lost my seat.
The Businessman who also runs John Mututho Empowerment Centre(Jomec) in Nakuru, says the enemies of democracy are the same today as they were in 2013.
According to him, they use the same weapons:
· Money – to buy votes and silence voices
· Intimidation – to threaten and coerce
· Deception – to lie and manipulate
· Alcohol and Drugs – to destroy lives and communities
He is however quick to point out that the dragon he faces today is called drugs and alcohol.
This, he says is the weapon of mass destruction used to destroy youth, families, and nation, but that will not deter him from liberating the country from the same.
While revealing that he will be on the ballot 2027, Mututho clarified that he is seeking elections from the people of Kenya to serve Kenyans with integrity, with dignity, and with love.
He has appealed for Kenyans’ support by resisting in the strongest way, the missions of death that have been devised to destroy the nation Kenya.
The former Lawmaker states that Kenya is at a season of goons.
He has however vowed to conduct a decent campaign—through this bad season of goons to ensure that the will of the people is not subverted.

He says that the support will ensure that:

In his call to action, Mututho wants DCI (Directorate of Criminal Investigations) to investigate the 2013 electoral manipulation in Naivasha and Nakuru County 2022
ODPP (Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions) Expedite prosecution of all offenders.
He also wants IEBC (Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission) Investigate the 2013 electoral manipulation in Naivasha and ensure such practices never happen again.
Mututho also calls on young people to take active role and ensure the power of their votes counts.
“Your vote is your power. Do not sell it. Do not let it be stolen. Guard it like your future depends on it—because it does. To the people of Kenya: I am ready to lead. I am ready to fight. I am ready to serve. Join me. Stand with me. Let us build a new Kenya—a Kenya where no one dies for entertainment, where no election is stolen, where no one is silenced.
