Deputy President Prof Kithure Kindiki on January 29, 2025 held a consultative meeting with Nakuru County Executive and MCAs on development agenda.
Nakuru Deputy Governor David Kones, First Gentleman Sam Mburu, Education CECM Zipporah Wambui, County Chief of Staff Peter Ketyenya and 60 MCAs attended the meeting.
However, four MCAs from Nakuru East Sub County seized the moment to make a people-centred crucial requests to DP Kindiki.
The MCAs Neto Sakwa(Kivumbini), David Muraya Muna (Flamingo), Anthony Kanyere Geru(Nakuru East Ward) and Fadhili Msuri(Biashara Ward) while having in mind the issues affecting their people in Nakuru made crucial requests to the government.
The four civic leaders requested Deputy President to intervene on abduction of Brian Odhiambo by Nakuru KWS officers.
They further requested the Deputy President for a return of Kazi Mtaani for youth in Kivumbini, Flamingo, Biashara and Nakuru East Free Area Wards.
According to them, this will help youths, women and PWDs, and reduce cases of insecurity and unemployment within Nakuru county.
