
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has signed a Memorundum of Understanding(MoU) with Kibabii University to strengthen cultural and educational collaboration.
“Today, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kibabii University to strengthen cultural and educational collaboration,” stated Natembeya.
This partnership will also see the creation of the Ken Walibora Corner at the Kitale Museum.
This centre will be key in promoting local languages and cultural heritage.
Natembeya added that the journey has commenced on working together on research, capacity building, and cultural events to celebrate diversity.
According to him, this is a milestone towards preservation of culture.
“This is a big step towards preserving our rich culture and expanding educational opportunities for our people,” he said.
