During her campaigns, Njoro MP Charity Kathambi made a promise to the people of Njoro that she will ensure improved access to clean water.
True to her words, the Lawmaker has worked tirelessly to ensure the same in various Wards.
This was made possible through her efforts in lobbying for drilling of various boreholes in areas that had difficulty in accessing water services.
According to the Legislator, the boreholes will go a long way in improving access to quality water services.
“These boreholes will significantly improve water access in many communities,” she stated.
She added that many more borehole projects are in the pipeline, with an emphasis on areas with the highest need for clean water.
Some of the already completed water projects include: Tipis, Nessuit, Chorwet, Maili Tatu, Ngwataniro, Ndeffo, Amani, Taita, Mukunguku, Likia, Kianjoya, Tegat, Tuiyotich, Mauche, Uwanja Ndege, Chesoton, Kamwaura and Teret Water Projects among many others.
The second term serving MP in Parliament has urged residents to continue supporting her development agenda.
