Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has revealed that her ‘Governor’s Cup’ is coming up in September.
Speaking in Naivasha on Friday during opinion leaders meeting, Kihika stated that the tournament will be a classic one.
She revealed that teams will engage starting at Wards level, inter sub-counties and finally championship.
Kihika was categorical that the tournament will be a dynamic sports competition that will run from September through to December.
The tournament will be a remarkable celebration of talent, teamwork, and community spirit.
Kihika used the moment to urge teams to prepare for the tournament.
“The Governor’s Cup’ will commence in September and run to December. I urge youth and teams to work towards the same,” she said.
During the Naivasha meeting, Kihika also highlighted some of the projects that her administration has implemented in the Sub county of Naivasha.
Kihika was accompanied by Nakuru Woman Rep Liza Chelule, MP Irene Njoki(Bahati), MP Samwel Arama(Nakuru Town West) among others.
