Governor Kihika hosts Muslims for Iftaar

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has vowed to address challenges facing Muslim community in Nakuru.

Speaking at her Ngata residential when she hosted members of the Muslim community in Nakuru for Iftaar, Kihika who was accompanied by First Gentleman Sam Mburu lauded the Muslim community for the support they have continued to give to her administration.

She vowed to address the challenges that the Muslim community is facing in Nakuru.

Kihika also used the opportunity to urge the Muslim community in Nakuru to continue rallying behind her administration.

“We were honoured to host the Nakuru County Muslim Community for Iftar dinner this evening. Muslims play a key role in our society,” she stated.

She was speaking after a discussion that focused on challenges faced by the Muslim community in the county and potential measures to address the concerns.

The meeting was also attended by Members of the County Assembly, Fadhili Msuri, Ali Hassan Abdi, Stanley Karanja, George Kanure and Leah Serem.
