Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika has chosen the route of unity for realization of development.
On Monday Kihika held a meeting that brought together 8 MPs from Nakuru County.
The meeting that comes barely two days after the leaders met in Rongai and vowed unity, aims to cement unity among Nakuru leaders.
Unlike her predecessors Kinuthia Mbugua and Lee Kinyanjui, Governor Kihika has chosen the unity way as a bridge towards development.
She noted that a united Nakuru leadership is key on matters development.
According to Kihika, when leaders are united, they can focus on key agenda which is development for the electorates.
“Unity among leaders is key towards development of the people and that is why I have chosen this path,” she stated.
Kihika’s consultative meeting with eight Members of Parliament from Nakuru County, is a strong gesture of political unity and collaboration.
According to reliable sources from the County Government, the leaders are preparing to engage opinion leaders from Bahati Constituency as part of ongoing efforts to build consensus and accelerate development.
Governor Kihika has reiterated her firm belief that political unity is essential for driving sustainable economic growth and delivering meaningful progress for the people of Nakuru County.
