Former Nakuru Mayor Herman Nderi has passed on.
Nderi has been on treatment for many years.
During the Nakuru War Memorial Hospital saga, it emerged that it is at the facility that he had been getting diaylsis services.
At one particular time, the family raised concerns over the same as the facility was not operational due to the battle of ownership, forcing them to seek services somewhere else.
His death has left Nakurians in shock besides rekindled memories of defunct municipal council when Mayors were very powerful.
One of his grandson by the name Rony Quail took to his social media stating,”Just lost my guka. I thank God you were my guka and for the moments we shared. I’ll really miss you. Former Nakuru Mayor Nderi.”
