A Governance and human rights Activist has revealed that no President will succeed in Kenya without fighting corruption and ensuring a fair society.

Dr. Isaac Newton Kinity who is a Former Secretary General of the Kenya Civil Servants Union, human rights activists and Current Member of the Presidential Advisory Board of the Republican National Committee, says corruption has remained the major challenge facing Kenya.
In a recent strongly-worded Press release, Dr. Kinity stated that it is ironic that the Business community in Kenya, local and foreign, are victims of terrorism from the very system of governance obligated and mandated to promote, help, and protect them in order for them to prosper and expand their businesses.

The former unionist claimed that the political leaders in Kenya have been soliciting billions of Kenya shillings from the business community in the name of protection.
“They even threaten to destroy their businesses if they don’t buy favors from them,” he stated.

While noting that the Business Community and the farmers are the backbone of the economy and employment in Kenya, Dr. Kinity called out President William Ruto’s Administration to end corruption inorder for the sectors to thrive.
According to Kinity, there will be no president in Kenya who will ever succeed in raising the living standards of Kenyans without eradicating corruption, supporting and helping the business community and the farmers.
“Eradicating corruption, helping the business community and helping the farmers is creating job opportunities in the nation,” he stated.
He at the same time slammed the government of the day for failing to eradicate corruption that has continued to derail development leaving Kenyans to suffer.
He said time is now for Kenya Kwanza Government to stop accusing the dead over corruption, but rather arrest, prosecute and jail all the living looters of public funds.
“Eradication of corruption is not accusing the dead over corruption but it is by arresting, prosecuting and jailing all the living looters if public funds who stole billions from the loans borrowed, from the free grants given to Kenya, and from the taxes collected,” said Dr. Kinity.
He at the same told off leaders who have looted billions and now diverting the attention of Kenyans by introducing theories of the land grabbed and the money stolen by the dead Kenyan Presidents.
He noted that the Kenya constitution is very clear that No one can be accused in court without being given the opportunity of defense.
According to Kinity, a parent can not be accused for a daughter or a sons crime.
He added that, a child can not be accused of a parents crime.
“Why then do the corrupt Kenya politicians bring about the crimes committed by past Kenyan leaders with attempts to implicate their children whenever their names are brought up in relation to corruption in Kenya? Why and how would the Children of the late Nicolas Kibiator Kiprono Biwott, the late Isaiah Mathenge, the late Jaramogi Oginga odinga, the late Nyachae, the late Hezekiah Oyugi, the late Yusuf Haji, the late Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta and others who are already dead, be accused of the crimes committed by their dead parents?,” he questioned.
According to Kinity, the government should take action and ensure all the money looted in the form of borrowed loans, the free grants given to Kenya, and all the taxes are recovered.
He said this is the the only way Kenyans lives can be transformed.
“The crimes committed by previous dead Kenyan presidents should never ever justify new crimes by the current or future presidents of Kenya. The number of living looters of public funds who have looted trillions of loans, grants, and the taxes collected in the last 15 years would not exceed 2 thousand. It is therefore easy to round them all and arrest them in one day. Then, prosecute them, jail them and recover all they have looted,” he stated.
Dr. Isaac Newton Kinity has been on record calling out President William Ruto’s Administration demanding that the rule of law be respected.
