The group has been talk of town with many residents having suffered in their hands.
The matter popped up during Jukwaa la Usalama Nakuru edition at Dog section and attended by Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen.
Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika in her speech raised concerns over the group that has been extorting money from vulnerable innocent Nakuru residents.
Kihika cited an incident where an elderly woman was swindled off money meant for school fees.
Addressing the issue, Deputy Inspector General- APS Gilbert Masengeli ordered a crackdown on the gambling extortion ring operating near KANU House in Nakuru CBD.
The DIG (APS) was categorical that extortion from innocent Kenyans is a crime punishable within the law.
He called on residents to work closely with security team in addressing such challenges within urban towns and cities.
