Residents of Soin Ward in Rongai Constituency of Nakuru County have a reason to smile after a new Police Post was commissioned.
East Gate-Rafiki Police Post was on Monday September 21, 2026 commissioned by Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat who was hosted by area MP Paul Chebor.
The DIG also commissioned Two New Classrooms at Rafiki Primary School.
This magnificent project will significantly improve the security of the Rafiki Community.
MP Chebor lauded the DIG for assuring that the station commences operations immediately.
“I am pleased that effective, immediately, we will have security officers in the station and the DIG has promised to make additional postings in the coming weeks,” stated Chebor.
Through the support of the DIG also, an additional patrol vehicle for Rongai Sub-county will be availed to enhance police operations.
Through the office of area MP, there is an additional two motorcycles to assist patrols Kaimunyi and Baraka Police Posts.
“We are determined to improve the security situation of our people more particularly this time as we go towards the next elections,” stated Chebor.
The event was also graced by MPs Eric Mutai(Kuresoi North), Liza Chelule(Women Rep), Regional & County Security teams, MCAs, and Church leaders.
