DCP Nakuru Branch Secretary General Simon Ole Nasieku has lauded the move taken by Agnes Njambi Githinji to join Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP).
Nasieku stated the move is a major boost to the DCP party as Agnes Njambi comes with vast political experience.
Njambi declared that she had ditched Jubilee Party and officially joined DCP.
She was officially welcomed by Party Leader Rigathi Gachagua at Wamunyoro during a meeting with delegates from Gilgil Constituency.
It should be noted that on Njambi contested the Nakuru County Woman Representative seat in the 2022 General Election on a Jubilee ticket, securing more than 180,000 votes.
At the request of her supporters, she is now seeking to represent Gilgil Constituency in Parliament on a DCP PARTY.
The DCP party will hold primaries in March next year ready for general elections in August.
