Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) Leader Rigathi Gachagua and his wife Pastor Dorcas Gachagua were among leaders who graced the requiem service for the late Rev Catherine Macharia- wife to General Overseer Full Gospel Churches of Kenya Bishop David Macharia.
Gachagua was received by former Bahati Lawmaker Kimani Ngunjiri, area MCA Wilson Mwangi and DCP bregade in Nakuru County.
Speakers who addressed during the service eulogized the late as a great servant of God.
They termed her their mother and spiritual mother who served with dignity.
Macharia eulogized his late wife as a great servant and a giant of faith whose dedication was on another level.
According to him, Rev Catherine always sacrificed for the people through her business profits that she used to sponsor needy studrbts in societ, fed the destitutes at tge Church in Langalangaand even some members of the church.
“She has been the pillar that has supported my Ministry all through,” he stated.
He used the moment to appreciate the medics for the support upto her final journey.
Gachagua joined other leaders in eulogizing the late Rev Catherine lauding her contibution to the livelihoods.
He at the same time lauded the vhruch for the role it has continued to play in shaping morals.
According to Gachagua, religious leaders have great potential and always understand the problems facing the people at grassroot.
