
Youth in Nakuru will benefit greatly in terms of talents nurturing as county seeks to partner with Betika firm.

The initiative will see the support of community development and helping the youth nurture talent.
Nakuru County’s Sports, Youths, Gender, Social Services and Inclusivity, Josephine Achieng said the partnership will be a game changer for the young people as it will help many of them nurture their football talents.
The partnership will also enable the the sports enthusiasts to enjoy live sports viewing following the erection of state-of-the- art screens at strategic points in the Nakuru CBD.

Ms. Achieng added that the county government is ready to work with Betika to launch the Governor’s football tournament, to keep the youth busy thus preventing them from engaging in unlawful activities including drug abuse.
She was speaking during an event sponsored by Betika firm and Weru TV, that brought together a community from section 58 at Free Area estate to watch a live game.
The football enthusiasts were also awarded with umbrellas, caps, jumpsuits and T-shirts.
