Bocca FC have been crowned winners of MP Martha Wangari Tournament in Gilgil.
The finals were played at Karunga Primary School on the outskirts of Gilgil Town.
Bocca FC were crowned the overall winner , while France FC took position 2.
Meanwhile, Karunga Wazee FC were crowned number 3 in the tournament of it’s kind that brought together football enthusiasts.
Other teams that participated included Ngecha FC, Choke City FC, Ngeteti FC and Karunga Junior FC.
During the event, the Lawmaker donated balls, cash prizes, and other personal gear to encourage the players.
Speaking during the event, MP Wangari revealed that this was a personal initiative since NG-CDF no longer has a sports kitty.
She assured young talents of her support moving forward, adding that talent can also be used as an avenue for economic growth.
