One person has died, six are missing and 16 have been rescued after a boat carrying church members capsized in Lake Baringo.
Rescue efforts are ongoing for those still missing.
According to Kenya Red cross Society, the boat was from Salabani headed to Kokwa Island.
A multi-agency response team, including the Kenya Red Cross, community members, and marine guards carried out the rescue operation.
