Bahati MP Irene Njoki roots for solution on titling, lease, freehold issues affecting Constituents

Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki is rooting for a lasting solution on matters land in her Constituency.

The Lawmaker on Wednesday July 10, 2024 attended a meeting with the Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Housing, Hon. Alice Wahome, alongside Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika, and several Members of the National Assembly from Nakuru County.

The Lawmaker has reiterated her commitment towards addressing issues on land that have for many years affected her Constituents.

According to MP Njoki, Among topics discussed for Bahati constituency were:

(1)- Titling issues: The focus being on
Ndeffo Farm issue in Kiamaina Ward as well as Ndundori Centre issue.

(2)- Leasehold and freehold land tenures: The focus was on Muchina, Ngecha Farm
and Nyadhuna in Kabatini Ward.

The first term serving MP says she is optimistic that the national government in collaboration with county government of Nakuru will address the issues that have been thorn in the flesh of the people of Bahati Constituency.

The meeting was also attended by Principal Secretary for Lands,  Generali Nixon Korir.
