Azimio leaders accuse Government over abduction cases

Azimio One Kenya Alliance leaders Kalonzo Musyoka(Wiper) and Eugene Wamalwa(DAP-Kenya) have pointed an accusing finger at Kenya Kwanza Government over what they term is unnecessary abduction of innocent Kenyans.

Speaking in Nakuru when they attended a mass at St Joseph the Worker Parish in Nakuru East and a Sunday service at Njoro PCEA, Kalonzo pointed out that such abductions and unnecessary arrests have no room under the constitution of Kenya 2010.

He noted that Kenyans are facing numerous challenges that the government has to address rather than the sideshows and rhetorics.

The Wiper Leader also used the opportunity to call on the church to pray for the nation.

“The Church has a great job today to pray for the nation especially during this time that Kenyans are being subjected to unnecessary suffering. The overtaxation of Kenyans by government is uncalled for,” he stated.

Kalonzo pointed out that the economy is doing badly and this is an area needs address moving forward towards ensuring a better nation where Kenyans can enjoy.
He condemned the unnecessary abduction of innocent Kenyans terming the move against the law.

Sentiments echoed by Wamalwa who accused Government of harassing innocent Kenyans.
“Abductions of innocent Kenyans should be condemned with the strongest terms possible,” he said.

Wamalwa also condemned the recent incident in a burial in Limuru where impeached Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was in attendance.
According to Wamalwa, even though Gachagua was impeached, he still deserves protection as a citizen.
“Though Gachagua was impeached, he is still a Kenyan who is fully entitled to the full protection of the law Under Article 27 of our constitution. Stop harassing him,” he stated.
Wamalwa called on Kenyans not to relent in pushing for accountability by government of the day.
