A total of 4 teams will represent Nakuru in the inter County sports to be held in Malindi, Kilifi County from April 14 to April 21, 2024.
The teams include;
A.Basket Ball Girls
B.Volleyball Boys
C.Football Boys
D.Football Girls
County Executive Committee Member for Youth, Sports, Gender, and Social Services Josephine Atieno, flagged off the Kenya Youth Inter-County Sports Association (KYISA) team that is set to represent Nakuru County in Kilifi.
The team under leadership of Captain Hawkins Indeche, is geared up to compete against other participants from different counties.
Ms Atieno urged the players to maintain discipline and stay focused to uphold Nakuru County’s reputation, aiming to clinch victory in the tournament.
The event was also graced by Pastor Alex Maina (Chief Officer for Sports), Alex Bor (Kiptororo – MCA and Chair Sports Committee), team managers, coaches, medical specialists, and other dignitaries.
