The 2026 Gentlemen Convention was held in Bahati with calls for enhanced family fabric
The event held at St. John’s in Bahati Ward, is an intitiative of Dr. Njagi Makanga who is husband to area MP Irene Njoki.
It is an event that brought together over 5,000 men agaed 35 and above.
Discussion centred on the family as the foundation of society, reflecting on men’s role in guidance, protection, and provision, and how this shapes strong homes and communities.
Key issues were addressed among them femicide, gender based violence, and mental health, as matters that directly impact family stability and dignity.
MP Njoki who also graced the event, took time to lead a review of constituency’s development, affirming that real progress goes beyond projects to the values upheld at home.
