Residents of Shabab estate in Nakuru West Sub county are now living in fear following incidents of insecurity in the area.
The cases include mugging and stabbing of innocent locals.
A recent incident of Monday evening has left locals in shock.
In the incident, an Mpesa businesswoman was shot dead at Shabab, nakuru by an armed robber who fled the scene with stolen cash on a motorbike.
It is an incident that saw Police, local administrators and local leaders swing into action.
According to Hezron Okiki- an opinion leader from Nakuru West, issues of security should be taken serious.
He was however quick to commend the security team for taking action immediately the shooting incident.
“After criminal gang shot dead a great businesswoman at shabab,I applaud chief kirui and the entire kaptembwo security organ,they are still in operation perusing the criminals with the hope of appression,” he stated.
