Police launch investigations into Nakuru night club incident involving Cleophas Malala and revellers

Police in Nakuru have launched investigations into a night club incident that saw former Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala beaten by individuals at a club in Nakuru yesternight.

A video that went viral depicts Malala in scuffle with revellers at a Nakuru club at night.

Sources have it that it called for one of the directors at the club to end the scuffle that saw Malala injured and his vehicle damaged.

The immediate UDA Party Secretary General would later report and record a statement at Nakuru Central Police station.

Malala’s tribulations are said to be linked to the play ‘Echoes of War’ in which he is the one who scripted and that was to be performed by Butere Girls’ Students but this never happened in what seen as interference from some quotas of government.

The Politician and seasoned playwright, was also arrested on Wednesday in Rongai before being taken to Eldama-Ravine where he spent at Police station.

Intervention by his lawyers led by Ken Echesa and DAP Kenya Party Leader Eugene Wamalwa saw Police release him at around mid-day on Thursday.
