Long serving Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Anne Amadi has signed off from her position, after a 10-year stint.
Amadi passes the button to her deputy Paul Ndemo.
Ndemo will occupy the position in an acting capacity till the vacant position is filled.
Amadi has held the position of Chief Registrar since January 2014.
During her tenure, she swore in two Heads of state; Former President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 and President William Ruto in 2022.
She has been an advocate of the High Court of Kenya since 1989.
Previously, she practiced law privately in Mombasa (1997-2003) after serving as a magistrate in the Kenyan Judiciary for six years from 1991 to 1997.
