Ongoing rehabilitation of Lions Garden in Biashara Ward at final stages

The ongoing rehabilitation of Lions Garden in Biashara Ward, Nakuru East Sub county is at final stages.

This was revealed on Tuesday as County Environment Officer Sammy Kariuki inspected the ongoing work.

The project is funded by the Financing Locally-Led Climate Action (FLLoCA) program.

The scope of work includes extensive beautification efforts such as tree planting, flower beds, and modern grass landscaping, which have already been completed.

Additionally, significant infrastructure developments have been finalized, including the installation of security lights, construction of washrooms and office, and the placement of durable concrete and steel seats.

Ongoing maintenance activities, such as watering the newly planted trees and flowers, ensure the project’s sustainability.

Security measures have also been strengthened to safeguard the facility.

The projects align with Nakuru County under the leadership of Governor Susan kihika’s commitment to creating a clean, green, and attractive urban environment.

Once completed,  will significantly contribute to the city’s livability, providing residents and visitors with a serene and appealing public space.
