National Prayer Day to be held at Subukia Shrine on October 5

The National Prayer Day shall be held at Subukia Shrine.

Statement from the The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB), indicates that the event shall be held at the Marian Shirine, Subukia in Nakuru County on October 5, 2024.

KCCB has extended an invitation to Catholic faithfuls and Kenyans at large for the event.

“KCCB welcomes you to this year’s National Prayer Day at Marian Shrine Subukia, Nakuru on 5th October 2024,” reads the statement.

This year’s Theme is “Journeying together in integrity as a family of God through small Christian Communities.”

The National Prayer Day coming at a time when the country is facing numerous challenges among them weak economy and harsh living conditions for Kenyans, the Proposed Bill towards regulation of Religious Institutions, the impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and the wrangles within the Ruling Kenya Kwanza Regime, various scandalous deals between Government and the Private Investors such as Adani and the continued harassment of innocent Kenyans by rogue security officers.
