
Naivasha Sub county will transform into rally haven over Easter Weekend as it host World Rally Champions Safari Rally 2024.
This, even as preparations are in full swing for the event.
Nakuru County Executive Committee Member for Sports Josephine Atieno has assured Nakuru residents and guests that all is set for the event.
She added that, it will also not just be a sporting activity, but a plus to Nakuru County especially the hospitality sector that will reap big.
Atieno spoke on Wednesday March 27, 2024 at Loldia in Naivasha sub-county, where the WRC Safari Rally Kenya shakedown took place, signaling the commencement of the countdown to the big event and showcasing the County’s readiness to welcome the world’s top rally drivers and enthusiasts.
“Mark your calendars for the Easter weekend as Naivasha Sub-County transforms into a rally haven” Exclaimed the CECM.

The exercise was led by the Nakuru County Government and the National Ministry of Youth Affairs, Arts, and Sports, under the leadership of Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba.
Designated viewing points have been identified for each day of the event among them Kedong on Friday, Soysambu on Saturday, and the grand finale at Hellsgate on Sunday.
With such a lineup, the World Rally Championship in Nakuru promises a weekend packed with thrills and excitement for all attendees.
