MP Njoki-lobbied Borehole Water Project kicks off at St Lwanga Primary

Residents of Bahati Ward and St.Lwanga Primary School, JM Kariuki Memorial Secondary School fraternity have a reason to smile following the commencement of Borehole Water Project in the area.

The Project that is being spearheaded by office of the area MP Irene Njoki will go a long way in addressing issues of water shortage as has been before.

According to MP Njoki, water shortage is one of the main challenges facing Bahati Constituency.

In a statement to Newsrooms on Saturday May 11, 2024, the Lawmaker noted that with agriculture being main economic activity in the Constituency, the demand for water is very high.

“Today, my office presided over the drilling of a borehole at St Lwanga primary school in Bahati ward. The borehole will go along way in sorting water shortage for domestic and farm use at Bahati center. It will also help in improving sanitation at St. Lwanga Primary school and JM Kariuki Memorial Secondary school,”she stated.

While commending National Irrigation Authority for considering the area, the Legislator reiterated her commitment towards initiating more projects the constituency.

According to her, this is the only way to ensure transformation through projects that impact lives positively.
