
Bahati MP Irene Njoki has reiterated her commitment towards transforming Bahati Constituency.
In a press statement, the Lawmaker recalled the development agenda that she shared with constituents through her manifesto during campaigns towards 2022 General Elections.
And two years since she assumed office to lead the people of Bahati, the Legislator says she is on with agenda of ensuring realization of development across all the Wards of Bahati.
“When I decided to run for the MP’s seat, I shared my development vision with you through my manifesto. Today, I am proud to say that I have consistently worked to translate that vision into reality,” she stated.
The Lawmaker pointed out Karubga Centre in Bahati as one clear example, where businesses now thrives well into the night.
This, she said was enabled through the installation of a high-mast security light.
She added that similar project will be expanded to Wanyororo B Centre, Workers Assistant Chief’s grounds and at Umoja 2 Mosque grounds.
According to Njoki, a contractor has already taken possession of these sites, and work will soon begin to further enhance security in these areas.
MP Njoki has also continued to ensure improved infrastructure in schools and transport sector in the vast Constituency.
