MP Njoki decries rising femicide cases, calls for collaborative effort in ending same

Bahati Member of Parliament Irene Njoki has decried the rising femicide cases in the country,

The Lawmaker says there is is need for concerted effort to address the same.

“The continued rise in femicide cases is heartbreaking and unacceptable,” she stated.

The Legislator noted that women are the heart of family unit in society and foundation of any community, hence deserve to be protected from any form of harm.

MP Njoki who is serving her first term in Parliament called on society to unite towards ending Gender Based Violence.

She noted that this is the only way to ensure a safe world where women are valued.

“Women are the heart of our families and the foundation of our communities, deserving love, respect, and protection—not harm. Let’s unite to end gender-based violence and create a world where women feel safe and valued,” she stated.
