Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama has demonstrated his interest in ensuring security for his Constituents
When he took over the mantle of leadership, Arama vowed to ensure security is beefed up in the cosmopolitan Nakuru Town West Constituency.
Arama is among a few MPs who have ensured welfare of police officers and their working ststions.
The third term serving Lawmaker has initiated several projects towards the same.
Key among them is the construction of Kaptembwa Police Station to a modern station.
Before, the facility had no proper structures with officers among them OCS working under a tree.
However, the interventions of the MP saw a modern station constructed.
The station is currently equiped with a Subcounty Police Commander and operational DCI unit.
In an earlier interview, Arama maintained that he will be equipping the facility with tv screens.
This, he says is to ensure that the officers are working in a better environment, hence boost security in Nakuru Town West.
Another station is the Mwariki-Barut Station that was also constructed by NG-CDF Nakuru West and officially opened by MP Arama.
The station has helped boost security in Barut, Mwariki and environs.
“We are doing this to enhance security for our people in Nakuru West,” he stated.
Besides security, the Lawmaker has also continued to do several projects in sectors such as education and infrastructure.
Arama will be defending his seat come 2027 and if he wins, he will make history as MP who went for 4 consecutive terms in Nakuru.
