This will see the Nakuru Town West bursary transformed into a scholarship that will need no new application, but parents will only be getting notifications on how much has been allocated to their children every financial year.

The MP revealed that the current data that is with the Nakuru Town West NG-CDF office will be used.

He was however quick to point out that there shall be thorough vetting to ensure that only parents who voters in Nakuru West benefit from the same.

“We are thinking of having a consolidated bursary where students will be allocated certain amounts every financial year. Instead of having to apply every financial year, we can opt to use the already available data in the office and then we just pin the list of beneficiaries,” stated Arama.
