Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama has raised concerns over malice spread in social media.
Addressing during a Free Legal Aid Clinic in Nakuru West, Arama decried the continued spread of malice by a section of social media users.
While noting that elections and campaigns are taking lead, Arama called on need for responsible online behaviour.
According to him, everyone using social media should be accountable.
“I know there is freedom of speech, but we should be responsible especially on social media. Let’s not spread false information and malicious content against others,” he said.
He urged constituents to use social media responsibly and ethically, recognizing the potential impact of their words and actions.
