MP Arama on a mission to transform infrasture in Rhonda Ward

Nakuru Town West Member of Parliament Samuel Arama is on a mission to transform road network in Rhonda Ward.

The Lawmaker has termed the Ward as one of the key pillars in matters socio-economic transformation.

Arama was speaking when he inspected the ongoing tarmacking works on various access roads in Rhonda Ward, particularly within Mwariki Estate, accompanied by KURA engineers and other stakeholders.

“Years ago, I made a promise to oversee the initiation and implementation of this project, I am proud to see that commitment now becoming a reality,” he stated.

The roads under construction include the Paramount–Top Ten road, Ponda Mali–Pembe Mbili–KK stretch, and the Game–Sewage road.

Arama noted that Rhonda Ward is both socially and economically significant, serving as a key link between neighboring wards such as Kaptembwa, Barut and Flamingo.

The project entails road tarmacking, drainage works aimed at mitigating perennial flooding affecting households and the construction of footpaths to minimize conflicts between motorists and pedestrians.

The project is being supervised by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority.
