Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama on Tuesday morning met 2027 Presidential aspirant Dr Fred Matiang’i in Karen, Nairobi.
FamousNakuru.co.ke has learnt that the two leaders held a candid discussion touching on numerous issues and the political journey towards 2027 general elections.
It should be noted that MP Arama is on record stating that he will be in the camp that Dr. Matiang’i will be in ahead of 2027 general polls.
The third term serving Lawmaker has positioned himself as Dr. Matiang’i pointman in Nakuru County.
During a recent interview with Manoti TV, Arama maintained that moving forward he will be among the top leaders to mobilize Dr. Matiang’i events in Nakuru.
He disclosed that he has been in close talks with Dr Matiang’i even as they chat way forward towards 2027 political formation.
It should be noted that Dr Matiang’i- a once powerful CS during President Uhuru Kenyatta regime, has declared that he will be in the race for the top seat in the country.
A recent interview with Citizen TV, Dr Matiang’i stated that he has not decided which party he will contest on.
According to Matiang’i, he is still in consultations with several parties that are approaching him.
Matiang’i had called on young people to ensure they register as voters and take lead in electoral process.
Speaking recently in Western Region, Dr Matiang’i urged youth to ensure they are part of policies and decision making on this country moving forward.
