Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama on Friday made a meet the people tour in Shabab Ward.
The MP who was accompanied by his PA John Koech, area MCA David Wathiai among others was a on a mission to listen to the concerns of Shabab Ward residents.
Key among them was the drainage system that has been a challenge.
The MP assured locals that in a week’s time, culverts will be erected in the area.
He also called on security team led by area OCS not to cause harrasment to the young people working in scrap sector.
The Lawmaker who walked all through greeting the electorates and having some conversation, also had light moments.
At one particular he entered a barber shop and had a head shave together with area MCA and PA Koech.
The Lawmaker also had a bite of kuku kienyeji at food join in the area and even bought lunch for electorates who were around.
He assured them that all challenges raised will be addressed with time urging them to continue supporting his development agenda for Nakuru Town West.
Earlier in the day the MP had raised issue over what he termed is harrasment of motorcycle Bodaboda operators by some rogue enforcement officers.
