MP Arama launches tarmac roads in Rhonda, Kaptembwa

Nakuru Town West MP Samwel Arama on Monday presided over the launch of construction and tarmacking of roads in Rhonda and Kaptembwa to ease transportation in the area.

The project will connect areas of Rhonda and Kaptembwa.

Speaking during the launch, the MP said the government has provided enough funds to complete the road within the stipulated time.

Arama expressed optimism that the road will create employment opportunities for the youth adding that when completed it will enable residents have easier access to various centres.

The MP further assured the people that he remains committed towards transforming the cosmopolitan Constituency.

He called on the contractor to ensure job opportunities for the locals whom he also urged to cooperate with the contractor during the project implementation.

“The locals should benefit from the project through job opportunities and the contractor will pay casuals Kshs 600 per day,” he stated.

The Lawmaker who is serving his third term, used the opportunity to urge parents who had applied for bursary to visit the NG-CDF office Nakuru West and confirm the names of beneficiaries, adding that there was delay in disbursement.
