MCA Sakwa: Lack of physical office won’t hinder me from delivering to Ward residents

Kivumbini Ward MCA Neto Sakwa has assured residents that he will continue to deliver despite there being no physical office.

The office of the MCA Kivumbini that has been used by even previous regime was set ablaze on January during the protests by residents after fisherman Brian Odhiambo disappeared in the hands of Kenya Wildlife Service officers at the Lake Nakuru National Park that borders Kivumbini Ward.

MCA Sakwa who has been in the forefront in demanding justice for Brian’s family during a previous presser was categorical that though the incident where the office was set ablaze and property vandalized was uncalled for, the protesters did so to express their anger over disappearance of Brian.

However, in a communication through his Personal Assistant Charles Okumu, Kivumbini Ward MCA has assured the residents that they will continue to get the services required despite the absence of the physical office.

According to the MCA, his office team is available and any need can be channeled through the PA whose contact is available.

MCA Sakwa has appealed to the residents to be patient as the matter of securing a new physical office is being addressed by the county Government of Nakuru.

“From whatever transpired on 24th January 2025, whereby, the office of area MCA was torched by demonstrators and everything was razed out of that bizarre, and as the office, we are so regretful for all that transpired that has hindered us to be found in a physical structure. We can assure the citizens and moreso, voters of Kivumbini ward, despite that we don’t have any physical place , as we wait for the county assembly to sort the mess, we are always on the ground to ensure things are intact, and your problems are tackled as required,” stated the communication.

The communication further indicated that MCA Sakwa believes there is need for a physical office, however as the matter is being addressed he will as a real servant to his people continue to use all available avenues to address the needs of the people who elected him.

He called on residents not to politicize or engage in baseless propaganda over the matter.

“We are always everywhere. Let’s not politicize the situation but mind for service delivery. Incase of any challenge , KINDLY, our phone numbers are just like twinkle of an eye,” the communication reads.
